Why take the Eurotunnel?

Taking your car to France gives you independence and the chance to visit a number of great destinations. Eurotunnel is a popular method of crossing the Channel due to the quick crossing time, so you can arrive in France quicker than you think. The earlier in advance that you book with Eurostar, the cheaper the fares can be. If you are looking for a cheap Eurotunnel crossing, it is also recommended that you travel at quieter times.

Many people choose to travel by Eurotunnel as it can often be more reliable than ferries, especially in Winter. High winds in the Channel, and blockades by French fishermen have adversely affected Ferry operators recently. Eurotunnel also offers up to three trains per hour to France during peak hours.

All Eurotunnel fares include a car with up to 9 passengers, which is excellent value for taking the whole family on a France day trip.

You will need your booking reference number and the credit ordebit card you used to make your booking. The person whose card was use to book the journey must travel in your vehicle.
